Before purchasing a ticket to The Twilight Aristocracy, below are a few IMPORTANT things to consider:

Age Restriction

You must be 18+ to attend The Twilight Aristocracy.


Arriving

Please enter through the Northwest corner of Bay Street and Van Ness Avenue.


No Late Entry

Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled showtime to leave room for the onboarding process. Due to the immersive and intimate nature of the show, there is no late entry. Any unclaimed tickets will be released at the start of the performance.


ATTIRE

Please be advised that you will be standing and walking for long periods of time. We recommend you wear comfortable closed toe shoes – heels are strongly discouraged. Read below for accessibility information.


An extra note on attire

You're invited to dress as your most fabulous self. Bust out your espionage chic: mystery, elegance, and queer frivolity are the name of the game.


Bag/Coat Check

Bags and large coats will not be permitted inside The Twilight Aristocracy. A complimentary coat/bag check will be provided, however space is limited. Please plan ahead.


COVID Safety

All guests are encouraged to wear KN95 masks. Performers will be unmasked.


Behavior

Disrespectful, lewd behavior, or any form of harassment towards performers, crew or other audience members will not be permitted and will result in the guest’s immediate removal from the premises.


Public Transportation

Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture is served by the following MUNI lines: 19, 28, 30, 30X, 43, and 49. In addition, Golden Gate Transit stops at the intersection of Lombard and Fillmore Streets.


Parking

There is no designated parking available for the General’s Residence. Parking for disabled visitors displaying valid credentials is available near the General’s Residence or in any marked space at Fort Mason at regular parking rates. Visitors can park in the Fort Mason Center for Arts and Culture lower lot (space permitting and at prevailing rates) or on adjacent city streets per posted regulations. The Fort Mason Center lower lot is entered at Marina Blvd and Buchanan Streets. Visitors may walk back to the General’s Residence either up the stairs or through the paths on the Great Meadow. The walking distance is about ¼ mile and the elevation change is approximately 55 feet. https://fortmason.org/visit/

ACCESSIBILITY

  • The General's Residence is a multi-story building with an elevator. There are ADA-compliant routes for guests who use wheelchairs, use assistive devices, or that prefer to not climb stairs. You can email directors@detour.productions to let us know you’re coming, and we can plan accordingly!

  • There is no fixed seating in the venue, however there are chairs throughout the space, where you are welcome to take respite. Please be advised that you will be standing and walking for a majority of the performance, and moving throughout the venue.

  • ASL Interpretation: Detour will not have an on-site ASL interpreter; rather, guests will provide their own ASL Interpreter and Detour will cover the cost of the interpreter’s ticket. Pending the interpreter’s rate, Detour can cover a portion or the full interpreter fee. Please email directors@detour.productions to coordinate.

  • All bathrooms are gender inclusive.

  • NOTAFLOF: No one is turned away for lack of funds. Please email directors@detour.productions if ticket prices are a barrier.
