ABOUT THE "QUEER WORLD BUILDING" WORKSHOP

In this 3-day workshop, we’ll explore how drag can fuel devised and immersive theater by using persona and queer performance traditions to shape character, plot, and entire worlds. Participants will engage in hands-on exercises and collaborative creation to develop vivid characters, craft narrative arcs, and imagine audience experiences rooted in spectacle and subversion, expanding their creative practice through the radical possibilities of drag and immersive form.
