ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Join us in exploring the nuanced performance art of drag. This workshop focuses on form: refining stage presence, crafting distinctive characters, and making compelling and captivating decisions on stage. All drag expressions are welcome in this space.

THINGS TO BRING

  • Come with two songs you know like the back of your hand (No need to download, we can just play off of a streaming platform).

  • Dress comfortably

  • Bring snacks if you need to munch when we take breaks.

ACCESSIBILITY

  • This workshop is designed for all-levels

  • Sliding-scale tuition is available; no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Email directors@detour.productions to learn more.

  • Joe Goode Annex is ADA accessible and has gender-neutral restrooms.

  • KN95 masks are encouraged, though not required. Please stay home if you are feeling unwell.
