ABOUT THE "DEVISING IMMERSIVE THEATER" WORKSHOP
Join us for a three-day 'Devising Immersive Theater' workshop, where we'll focus on the essential elements of Craft, The Ensemble, and Audience Experience. Through practical exercises and collaborative exploration, we'll delve into the art of creating dynamic worlds/scenarios and fostering strong ensemble dynamics, all while keeping the audience's experience at the forefront. This workshop is a hands-on, grounded approach to immersive storytelling that aims to empower participants in their creative endeavors.
ACCESSIBILITY
- These workshops are designed for advanced, pre-professional, and professional dance and theater artists. 
- Sliding-scale tuition is available; no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Email directors@detour.productions to learn more. 
- Joe Goode Annex is ADA accessible and has gender-neutral restrooms. 
- KN95 masks are encouraged, though not required. Please stay home if you are feeling unwell.

Fuchsia is a choreographer, drag artist, costume designer, educator, and the Artistic Director of San Francisco based Una Productions. Fuchsia has taught, created and set repertory for universities, training programs, professional companies, youth companies, and public high schools. Their work through Una has been presented internationally. Fuchsia has been a contributing director with Detour Productions for their last three productions, and is a part of the house of Clutch the Pearls.
