ABOUT THE "COMMANDING THE STAGE” WORKSHOP

Join us for an engaging exploration of the nuanced performance art of drag and burlesque. This workshop focuses on refining stage presence, crafting distinctive characters, and making bold, captivating choices on stage. Whether you're a seasoned performer or just starting out, all expressions of drag and burlesque are welcome in this creative and supportive space.

ABOUT DETOUR'S WINTER 2025 INTENSIVE SERIES

  • Participants will be immersed in Detour Productions’ approach to devised theater, experiential work, and drag artistry;

  • Each workshop is facilitated by Detour collaborators, offering unique vantage points into the company's creative process;

  • These workshops are geared towards advanced and professional level dance & theater artists;

  • Detour is offering sliding-scale tuition for each workshop;

  • All workshop venues are ADA accessible and have gender-neutral restrooms;

  • Masks are encouraged, not required;

ABOUT cheetah biscotti

Cheetah Biscotti is a staple of the Bay Area performing arts scene. They are well known within the OASIS community for their appearances in shows including SQREAM (2022), The Rocky Horror Show (2021), Princess, and Reparations, HEXSF and Nasti. Cheetah is everyone's favorite clown, drag royalty, dancer, actor, singer, roller skater and performance artist extraordinaire.
